Gardener's Delight Hits the stores tonight

Yup, it's New Year's Eve and this is the last kit for 2008. What do you think. Do you have garden or out door play date pics to scrap. Well this is just the kit for you. No specific gender either so it doesn't matter if you have little girls or boys. There's something for everyone in this one. I hand painted the animals and the house. This kit was so much fun to design LOL.

HO HO HO Merry Xmas!!!

Well in another 5 hours but hey who's counting. Just wanted to jump online and give you all your gift from my Santa Sack.

Well it will be very quiet here. Michael is working tonight and tomorrow night so Yup!!! He'll be asleep all day tomorrow. Accept for when he eats his Chrissy Dinner around 2.30pm. So we have already got our Christmas from eachother anyway so it's no biggy. Michael got his bike serviced this week and got a set of pagnions (I can't spell) they are those bags that hang either side of the back of the bike like saddle bags. So he can get his gear to work and he put some first aid gear in there too in case he came across an incident or had to repair his wife LOL. So that's what he got from me. I also got him something to open, just something small. Now he got me a gig or RAM ( for the laptop) so I got awesome service from Darren Boehm at Express Computer Repairs, 2 Bridge Street, Epping (here in Sydney). And wowsers was it express, Darren did it there and then and even gave my system tray a clearout and my keyboard a power blow to get the dust out. He was great and it was worth the almost 1 hour it took me to drive over there from inner Sydney. Thanks Darren! And Thanks Michael, my Sweetness!! My computer is so much faster in all aspects.

Okay so We are having Roast Pork and Roast Chicken with all the trimmings and Christmas Pudding and Brandy Custard. The remains of which will end up going to the other ambos tomorrow night for nightshift pickings.

Another Freebie _ CD Calendar

I thought for the new year we would have a CD calendar for each month. I just thought these were such a cool idea. Sooo here is January 09 for you to pop into a CD case, Just take the lid off and put it on back to front so that when it is open it will stand up like a photo frame. Okay? Clear as Mud, LOL.

My Husband is the best. For my Christmas Pressie he has got my laptop uploaded with another gig of RAM. So now my photoshop is running super quick and I am scrapping and designing faster than ever. I am sooo happy!!! Plus he got me a present only a Husband could get me. You all know that we do a bit of Bike riding and well, lets face it, your tooshy as well as other pieces of the anatomy get sore, soooo...

Michael got me some of those bike pants with the padding in them. Yes, you feel like your 100 years old and wearing an incontinence pad but it is going to make me so much more comfy when riding my bike LOL. It was so funny when I tried them on at the bike shop. I said to him, "Does my Bum look big in this?" LOL Hilarious. Thank god whenever I am wearing them my bum will be on the seat of the bike. And no I won't be posting a picture of me in them Yikes

What a Week!!! New Kit, New Challenge and a Freebie

Talk about being busy!!! I have a new kit, a new challenge and a freebie. Phew!! And I'm pooped. We have had a reasonably quiet time at home but I have been up late most nights, especially when Michael is working overnight shifts. Gotta catch up somehow and Christmas is fast approaching, can you believe it's December already!!! The first day of Summer here in Australia and Sydney has had a 32degree day here already. Think it's gonna be a hot Summer.

Okay onto news.

Okay I know I have been a bit slack in the blogging department but I have been playing catchup with all my commitments plus designing some Christmas things and preparing for my Journalling Challenge that I am starting Dec 1st at SAS. Here's a layout I did to remember my Gran, Agnes Conroy, who we lost on Halloween, she was 82 and suffering from Parkinsons Disease. My beloved Grandmother, truly loved and sorely missed. We love you Gran.

I May be away but...

I'm still in the Designer Spotlight over at TTS so while you are reading up on me and asking questions guess what... if you tell LauraM which of my kits is your favourite, you could win it!! Also there is a surprise waiting in that thread too!!
As for the rest of my stores well, I still have 50% off over at SAS till 16th November and also I have my two newest kits Bashful Romance and Mandarin Dream on sale at TTS for 50% off for the rest of November to celebrate being in the spotlight!! So you really can't lose when it comes to sales from me at the moment LOL.

As I mentioned before and also My Darling Sweetness Taz the Ambo mentioned it in his hijack post below. I am in Queensland visiting with my Mum. I haven't seen her since I drove her up here in February so it was about time I came up and checked out her new digs and made sure she was adjusting to being a Queenslander alright. Well she has slipped into the lifestyle here like it is a warm bath. LOL. She is very active in social things around the area she is living in and has frequent contact with my brother Steve and his family, including my eight year old niece so she is absolutely loving life here!! Which is a huge comfort to me.
We did a few big drives while I was here including a drive up to the Sunshine Coast and a drive to visit my wonderful Friend and Sis Danielle and her Mum, who I have called Mum since the year dot!! I hadn't seen them in over a year, before the weight watchers thing started, so 20kg ago LOL. And yes the excess that went on in IVF mode has dropped off again thank god!!
Tomorrow is full too with some things to get done in the day and then a dinner at my brother's place at night. Thursday will be filled too, so you see my dears, I only get time to do my designing duties during the night when I go to my room for bed, which usually waits an hour or two for me to check the emails and do some work. Busy, Busy, Busy. But loving it all LOL!!
Here's a few pics of us, ashamed to say I haven't taken that many pics but too busy doing things to think of snapping them. I'll try harder tomorrow LOL.
I was given a performance the second night I was here from my niece on her violin!! Bravo!!!

But she decided she didn't like the idea of the surf when it was a bit rough, the Crabs might get her!!! So she had a play on the playground equipment instead, so no photos of that...

a park mum found where she can let the dog off the lead in a special area. Lovely place, and as you can see my new transition lenses in my glasses are surviving the Queensland Sun very nicely too!!
