Negative - Big Bummer

We are not going to be having any babies it seems. We just used the last of our frozen stock for IVF and the test was negative so we have decided to let nature take it's course and if it happens naturally it happens. We have spent so much time, money and heartache trying to get pregnant over the last nearly 6 years and I think it is time to accept that it isn't happening this way. So we will concentrate on getting back to an even playing field financially again and see what life brings. Not the best way to spend Valentine's Day. We are both devastated as are our families. Thank you to everyone who hasn't been able to function for the past week with all their fingers and toes crossed for us. Sometimes all the love and prayers and luck in the world still doesn't bring blessings to a deserving couple who would have made a wonderful set of parents together. All of this makes me feel so blessed that we have Christopher and that he has turned out to be such a great person due to our influence as well as his unique character.
Chris is 21 on Sunday and spending it away in Tassie so we will be missing him terribly. But thinking of him constantly.

Hugs
Tracy and Michael

Another Freebie from my learning

Okay over at amandadykan.com I have my second challenge submission up and available for download. This week we had to take a photo of something inspiring to us and use the colours from the photo in our kit. We had to have bling and word bits and an alpha as well as a doodle and some papers. I hope you'll like this one it is inspired by my wedding bouquet and I used amandadykan's enchanted doodles to make the wedding dress.

Okay a little sidenote of Thanks to all those worried about us and with the fires and over 181 deaths from them this week we are blessed to be safely away from those areas of Victoria. We are further north in New South Wales. So thanks to all my overseas friends and readers for their worry and kind thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are in turn with those who have lost their homes, schools and in some cases loved ones in these terrible fires, the worst fires in Australian History.

Stay tuned for a collaboration kit coming up with the proceeds going to the fire victims and survivors. A way you can help the homeless survivors of this disaster!!

Have a great Valentine's Day tomorrow all and Happy Friday the 13th for today too!!

Having our blood test today so here's hoping for good news!

2 New TUTU Minikits

Instore now. 2 Minikits perfect for the little dancer in your life.

I did one of these for a challenge bonus and then when my external hard drive was down I had to do another similar mini in case I didn't have it back in time. Well as it turns out nobody wanted to do my challenge so I though rather than them go to waste I would pop them into the stores and see how they do.
Just click on the link to your preferred store at the top of the blog in the column.
I hope you all have a great weekend and if you are in Sydney try not to melt in the heat wave we are supposed to be having tomorrow!!
Hugs
Tracy

Doodle Freebie this week

Hi all, I have been busily working on a designer contest over at amandadykan.com in her Designer Bud Club where I am a member. Trying to improve and learn new techniques in digital-design. We had a tutorial and then had to make a mini incorporating what we learned in the tutorial. Which was on doodles create in illustrator and then pulled into photoshop to finish them off. So here is my entry and to download it just click on the image. Pssst, there are a heap of other ones over there for you to snag and ooh and ahh at too. Including my good friend Charlie of Charlie's Digiscraps from SAS. So stop by and check them all out while you are there.

DOWNLOAD HERE

Included are the 3 doodle elements, a tied ribbon, a wordart "SWEET", glitter, a ribbon, a curtain drape, a button, a journalling page and flower and a flower, plus 4 patterned papers, 2 solid textured papers, and a full alpha with upper, lower, numeric and some symbols. It's a little treasure trove of goodies over there on the gallery.

Okay no voting or anything like that, this competition is purely judged by the admin over at the site. You just get to score all the freebies. One a week for the next month at least.

Lucky that I managed to fix my external hard drive cause Michael had to reset his computer to factory settings yesterday so he had to put everything onto it while he did that, then he had to choof off to work on an overtime shift so I did it for him. Not sure it has fixed his problem though. His dvd disc drive is playing up and he's getting the blue screen of death whenever we try to play a DVD in it. And now it is not recognising the format urgh!!! Oh well I guess he'll play with it and try and get it fixed today. We were having trouble with our DVD Player in the loungeroom and I bit the bickie and bought a new one. Only cost us $65 at the good guys for an LG one. and it works like a charm. My old one I have had since they first came out and it cost me more than $500 so I am more than happy to pay $65 for a new one.

Michael's Mum Ila is headed our way this weekend for Dragon Boat Racing with the pink ladies. She is a breast cancer survivor and they paddle to raise awareness and to improve there upper body strength and recover from the effects the treatment takes on their bodies. So she will be staying with us once she has filled her committment to the cause. We are expecting a heatwave on the weekend too so I hope they are all okay.

Okay gotta run and get some housework done.

Hugs

Tracy
