Wow I'm busy this week

Well the chat room at the Studio (formerly SAS) went on it's maiden voyage on Monday (US time) and I held a chinese whispers crop, we all chatted and scrapped at the same time, each person in the chat room taking their turn in giving us an item to add to our pages. And wow some great layouts came out of that scrap

Also we are having a progressive scrap again. This challenge is such a hit at special events that we have decided to make it a permanent fixture at the studio. And wow I am hosting this challenge this month and there are 33 members playing so far! and they have really risen to the challenge. Check out the gallery to see their pages evolve and grow.

The studio January Mega Kit "snow Games" is the kit we are using pieces from for this challenge and the winner of the poll to be posted at the end of the challenge will win this full kit, and all the participants will receive a $1.00 coupon for the Studio store. How cool is that?!!

SAS IS EVOLVING - WELCOME "the STUDIO"

Yes if you haven't heard, we are moving the site, NOW, as I type this LOL. And we are revamping our look and changing our name. From today we will be known as www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com aka the STUDIO
We will have a redirect in place for those of you who didn't get the recent newsletters from SAS.

If you don't get the newsletter, when the site comes back online in a few hours from now, why not go to the store and sign up and be sure to select yes to receiving the newsletter, we have freebies in it and at the moment there is an awesome freebie collaboration coming out in stages called Live Laugh Love that is just so pretty and perfect for scrapping or cardmaking. I am biased since I am one of the designers who helped create this kit but it really is pretty. Here's a preview

Leanne's Christmas Visit

Well as I am sure you are all as busy as I am at this time of the year. I am even busier this year as we have my Friend Leanne staying with us till early next week.  So I have kept our days full of shopping and outings to show her as much of Sydney as we can while she is with us.

So here we go with a bit of an itinerary of her stay so far.

Christmas day was wet here so we had inside BBQ Christmas Dinner LOL. Pics of that are on my other hard drive sorry!

These few are two of my favourites from our visit to La Perouse. This is the site of a few of the scenes from Mission Impossible 2 (the Tom Cruise version)  Pics are Leanne and Michael

Christopher and his Girlfriend Jessica dropped in for a quick visit and rest on their way north.

New Year's eve Fireworks on Sydney Harbour

New Year's Day
Lea and I went to the city for a wander through the markets and then monorail to Darling Harbour to have a cruise of the harbour, we had warm overcast weather and it was lovely, we had a great day.
