Happy Birthday Terrell

So Terrell turned 42 this weekend and I did this layout to tell her how we were thinking of her. She certainly doesn't look 42. Happy Birthday Sweetie.

Okay so onto the IVF, for those interested in how we went. Well to start with we thought we had 9 eggs collected and then when I spoke to the Lab they said they got 10, good good!! Then she said they were able to inject 7 of those 10, even better. But the next morning when I heard from her she said that only one of them had fertilised so we only have one to put in today. But you know what they say, "IT ONLY TAKES ONE TO GET PREGNANT" So still crossing everything.

We were dissapointed because we thought this time we would finally get some to freeze hence saving the high dose injections for the next cycle but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. I have had a worse time of it as far as being sore in the belly after the operation and am hoping that will leave me alone soon.

Michael only has 2 night shifts left and then he is on holidays for 3 weeks so we will be spending a lot of time together and trying to keep him occupied, he does get very bored on holidays, he's such a workaholic LOL.

Okay well gotta go and wake him up so we can go have our embryo put in. Maybe I'll take the camera and take a photo of the fertilised egg on the screen before they do the procedure. Watch this space LoL

Okay update time, here are the two pics we took of the screen before they did the transfer. It is at the 6 cell stage according to the embryologist. Looks like more to me but she's the scientist so not gonna argue the point.

Crossing everything that this one sticks. We'll know by the 18th August.

Okay well that was quick wasn't it LOL. But I really have to get to bed I have to be up to go and clean, sigh. Oh and another 0.3kg lost today at weigh in so I am 79.5kg now. Slow and steady wins the race LOL.

Terrell Is Home & All Is Right With The World

Now I can breath again and blog again LOL. I didn't want to post anything here until I knew she was okay and out of the woods. Thus keeping the previous post at the top until now.

Okay so while she was away I did these layouts.

The next one is with TerrellS Burnt Orange Freebie, still available on her blog. The pics are of my brother, and taken by my niece.

























And above is Kianna, Hayley's niece, what a cutie eh!? Did this one with TerrellS Signs of Spring, such a lovely soft collection of papers and elements. And here in the next layout is Michael,(Taz) in his new cycling gersey that he bought for riding to work in winter and wore to the party as the Tour De France. The party was a "come as a country" party cause of all the international travel Hayley has done in the last 10 years. Oh and he won a bottle of plonk for best costume. We even rode to the party on our bikes so it was quite good LOL. The kit here is TerrellS Apple Cart kit.

Okay so we are well apart from being over bloated with the huge doses of drugs I have had to have for IVF. I am suffering from really sore boobs and aches pretty much everywhere. We go in on Friday to have the egg retrieval and it is at a different hospital so it will be interesting - if I can remember any of it sometimes I lose it later on LOL, anaesthetic I guess LOL.
So we have been riding and I have been watching what I eat but I am still not losing any weight, I think it must be the drugs sigh!!!

Michael is on the second week of his holidays and after relaxing totally in the first week this second one is dedicated to getting his assignment done for Uni. Then on the 24th April it is our Anniversary and who knows what we will be doing. Not a lot I don't think since we have already spent out on the trip to Hayley's place and the motel there and we are just on the basic income without the overtime bits and all that we are used to. I will probably be a bit ikk for a while anyway until after the surgery.
Okay I am off to do some house work yuck.
To Terrell!!!! I am so glad you are okay Hun!! Had me really worried there for a while and I was so frustrated cause there was nothing I could do from way over here!! Love You !!

Keep Terrell In Your Prayers!

That's right, My friend Terrell is very ill at the moment and although I won't go into details, it would be really sweet if you would all think of her at this difficult time and keep her in your prayers. She has been a great Inspiration and Mentor to me and I pray that this health issue will pass soon for her and her family! Love Ya girl!! Get Better Soon!!

Well I am officially hitting a goal!!! I have lost over 10% of my Bodyweight, Woo Hoo!! I only lost 200g on tuesday but hey after 2 big weeks of losses (1kg and 1.3kg the next week) I am still happy enough!! I have been riding my bike and have decided I should do the shorter route but do it every day so that I keep up the condition, otherwise when you do the long one after a break it kills you LOL. We are thinking of extending our long route which is currently 26km round trip, to Kurnell, which is the same distance again so all up a round trip of over 50km, wow, don't know how I'll go with that, will definitely need a rest in the middle of it LOL. At least I have a more reliable bike LOL.

Thanks to all the people who left me some love for the Sea Breeze Freebie!! There have been 46 downloads and about 1/3 of the people who downloaded the kit left me some love, so can't complain too much about that.

Okay this next one is of me being a Bride!! We were just going to use our own cars and not bother hiring any but Michael's Mum and Dad booked us two Statesmans, very nice, leather interior and with the ribbon and Tracy Doll on the hood of the car, as you do LOL!!! I love this pic of me getting out of the car, I had to tell Chris to help me out and instead of taking his mother by the hand he grabbed my wrist, so dainty LOL!! I had to be so careful that I didn't catch the dress on my heels LOL. So glad I had it altered and the train taken off. Sue came to the rescue at the last minute and fixed my sleeves too!! I love her to bits!!

Okay here's another one, this is me and michael in 1996 or 1997. Ah when we were younger LOL. He had a bit of a Shakespearean thing going on with the hair and goatie then LOL. He was also drum-majoring for Derwent Valley Marching Band and went to Canada that year with them to the Calgary Stampede!! This is also the last time I was really thin, although I was a bit too thin in the face at times and, wouldn't you know it, I still had a big bum and thighs, only answer to that is amputation LOL!!

The kit, I hear you ask!?? Well this is the second kit I have made. I am trying to get the colours to be a bit more subdued than the blues were in the last kit. I even made the feathers, which I was quite chuffed with. And there are some Bookmarks and a pencil and heaps of papers, it's called Dear Diary, by Ambowife aka Tracy Rundle. It does go quite well with that photo, hmmm!!

Alright so now that I am getting into the designing side of digi, I thought I better make a No Piracy sign for the files, LOL. I thought, I can't use anything then I remembered old George (Michael's Recent Skeleton Purchase, LOL) and I went off into the study and took some snapshots of him, extracted the skull and two ulnas (I think that's what they're called, you know the upper arm bone) and made a skull and cross bones. Then I thought, he looked too white and new, so I started to grunge him

up with some over laid texture and used to burn tool then took some teeth out and deepened the eye sockets and voila, much more Piratey!! I just was so pleased with the result and Michael was amazed, LOL. Oh and I did the cutout and burn thing on the paper like a treasure map thingy LOL.

Yes I Know!!!

It's been ages since I blogged, as My Darling Hubby mentioned last night LOL!!! So here I am with all the latest news, and Previews of the Kits TerrellS has come up with as well as her big new secret revealed, didn't know there was one, well you should be well aware that there is always something in the secret goody bag with TerrellS.

Okay where should I start, let me see!!! Well I have been busy busy busy, trying to loose the weight and with changing scales and deciding to go to meetings for WW instead of just doing it online I have gone up and down, but am able to report a loss of around 7kg total to date. And Yes I am still "A Smoke Free Zone" I am into my second month without my friend Nic-o-tine!!

Hmmm, next biggest news, for me, is that I became a Citizen, Yay finally I hear you all groan LOL!! Well there's a layout to prove it too, I just have to ring and see about my free pic with the lord Mayor and Michael in his Uniform, real special!!!

Okay we are starting IVF again on 18th, so back to being a pin cushion, we'll see how all this new stuff holds up this time, especially in my new improved body too!!

And this is all of my Dad's family (accept for Uncle Billy who was already living in Aus) at My Parents' wedding. Such a lovely pic. I did this on Tuesday, 9th October in Memory of my Dad and the love he poured on my Mum!! Miss you dad!!

So What's the big News, TerrellS is designing at Divine Digital now!!! Yes she's a Divine Diva. After hearing about HODS closing down, it is nice to know she is just a hop skip and jump away at Divine Digital, MootwoDesigns and Stone Accents Studio.
