WOO HOO!!!
Woo Hoo, look at my Swish New Bike!

Isn't Michael just the Best Husband?

My old bike which, by the way, I have only had for about 4 months, was dying already. I don't know if it is because it had to support my Hefty frame or what but the gears had died, I only had the middle range. And I was forever getting punctures and breaking bits of it. So we decided I should Upgrade!!

My Trek is "24" Speed and has groovy gear change levers plus super braking system, Metal Pedals and a comfy seat!

Here's a layout I did and I did it with all my own elements and papers, I used the commercial use kit from Shannon Fahrnbach to create these elements and I worked out how to do patterns and made papers too.

Also you may notice that I updated the look of the blog. Thought it was time for a change.

Okay well I'm off to bed now. I am off to Centennial Park tomorrow for a bike ride on my own. Michael's bike is being serviced. I'll let you know how I go, LOL!!

Have a great day everyone!

Happy New Year Everybody!!!

A quiet one for us, we did see the fireworks on the tv and managed to make it to midnight but we didn't drink. Michael had to work the next day and so we had a quiet night in.

BIG NEWS FOR CHRIS
Well my little boy is a Licenced Driver!! Yup he passed his test on 2nd January so he is probably going to be spending every spare dollar on petrol. LOL He did it all mostly on his own too, it's a manual Licence and the only one of us that taught him anything manual was Michael, here in Sydney. I taught him the steering and all in the automatic before we got him Lessons in a manual car, and now he's free as a bird!! No more lifts from Anyone, although he'll probably be borrowing money for petrol all the time instead LOL. Here's a layout I did for the occassion.

I just sent it to him in an email so I am looking forward to a response LOL, it took me a while to do the flames on the L plates, but that's what he'll be doing with those LOL.

Things have quietened down a bit here now, I am not committed to anything outside cyberspace until February, when I go back to Hobart to help Mum move to Queensland. It'll be fun, like a bigger version of the roadtrip I did last year. So IVF is going on hold for another month.

More Big News, from Me this time, I won Layout of the Week a few weeks ago at mootwodesigns.com, there were three winners so I was in good company. Also in the next MooTwoDesigns Newsletter I am their Featured Scrapper, so keep an eye out for that in the next week.

Okay here are some layouts from the last few weeks. This one I think is my favourite for the last few weeks, I am really pleased with how it turned out, of course it helps when the subject is so special and photogenic!!

Here is a layout of Amelia while she was visiting her Grandparents last year. She's just so pretty, isn't she!

Amelia is one of the three nieces we have on Michael's side of the family.

These two were created Using Terrell Sanzone's Posting Bonus Kit from her SAS sketch challenge, if you got the SAS newsletter you would have been able to download this as a freebie Kit, you have to participate in the challenge to get the other part, which is just as gorgeous as this section.
I used Terrell's Impressions Kit for this layout of Chris when he was still learning to walk.
Isn't he just adorable!!

TerrellS' Love Whimsy kit is used here to create a layout of Gabriella as our Flowergirl. Cuteness must run in our family LOL.Michael and his homeboys, these photos were taken on the walk down to the Rotunda at the Royal Tasmanian Botannical Gardens in Hobart, goofballs LOL!! None of them remembered the buttonhole roses so luckily Michael's Dad, John gave Michael his to wear, Chris forgot his too and My Mum's Corsage was left in the fridge as well, sigh, there's always something LOL.

This is a photo that I found amongst Tuffy's Dad's photos, hard copies, so I scanned it and did this layout, its the only photo that shows a closer look at me signing the register with our Celebrant showing me where to put my signature, Kath Venn was a lovely choice for our Celebrant. I used Shannon Fahrnbach's kits for this, including Ribbon Rounds Download a Day and her Grab Bag for November

And here's Robbie resting in the Sunshine in Mum's backyard, He's so darn cute!! Told you it ran in the family LOL. I used TerrellS' Roses for Mom kit here. I love the softness of this kit.

I am just in Love with...TerrellS' Love Whimsy Kit, it goes perfectly with the kit she created for me Tracy's Love.

Here we are signing the register again LOL. I know, I know, "More Wedding Layouts!" I hear you all moan but ya haven't seen these ones they are from Tuffy's Dad's hardcopies and it took me ages to do them cause I had to get the speckles and noise out of them before I could scrap them, so whisper if you want to I'm not listening ROFLMHO!!

I can see some Valentine layouts coming from this kit too with the heart theme running through it.

Hee Hee I just did this one for TerrellS's Sketch challenge over at Stone Accents Studio, Don't you love TerrellS' Template?!! I did this at, like, 2 am this morning so I was feeling overtired and a bit goofy hence the jokiness of it.

The pair in the sleigh is Hayley and her dog Nemo aka Rudolf LOL.

I used TerrellS's papers from her collaboration kit that she did with Shannon Fahrnbach called Cozy Christmas. The Background I recoloured with a pink overlay and the presents were part of one of TerrellS' Christmas Tree element which I extracted them from.

The Santa is from the Christmas Wrap kit by Deedee Smith.
Okay well I think that should keep everyone up to date for another week. I hope you are all having a great holiday season and if you are working don't work too hard.

Hugs all round!!

Tracy

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Not the best pic of us because the lights down the side of the photo have ruined it but this is us at Michael's work's Christmas do!

I know I have been MIA again but what can I say... Life gets in the way!!

So we were apart again at Christmas but today is Boxing Day and I am home. LOL and Michael is on night shifts today and tomorrow. But all that said we have had our exchange of gifts and things are relatively back to normal.

I took a heap of pics while I was away and so they will reappear in layouts no doubt in the next week or so. I had a lovely christmas lunch with Mum and Chris and then dinner with John and Ila so I had a lovely day. I also went and saw the new warehouse for the company I used to work for and on Christmas Eve I did attend their breakfast and stayed to help out until midday. I took pics at that too LOL, off course. Like this one where chris is acting silly dressed up as a robot, yes, that's my son in the cardboard LOL.Chris has his new used car and I had a drive of it when I was home. Nice and easy enough to drive so he is pleased. Cross you fingers for him, he has his driving test in another week.
Okay so that's it for now, I'm off to make myself some dinner and then I'll get stuck into some Layouts and commenting on the sites. Have a fabulous New Year if we don't get back here before then. All the best
Tracy :)

Remember Me LOL

I know you all must think I got sucked into a black hole or something, but to tell you the truth I have just been super concentrating on the Diet Fitness and IVF this last few months. We have changed Clinics and made a lot of life changes to improve our chances of getting Preggers so I figured since we are making all these changes and sacrifices and Michael is having to work his butt off to pay for it all I guess I should give it My All. So I have. We are due to have our hopes crushed on Thursday, and if by some twist of fate I don't have a visit from the witch, (you ladies will know her as intimately as I) we are due a test on Friday. So I guess now that I have said it out loud it will all come crashing down around my ears. sigh.

Well Onto other news. As you will have seen Michael has had a few interesting events happen in his work life lately, the Presentation of the Zoll Watch you will see in a layout shortly. LOL.

I don't however, have a pic of Julia, she did get me to take a pic of her but I haven't got a copy of it from her. It's an interesting time with 2 students in the house and trying to do assignments at the same time lol.

Weight Watchers - well it's slow and steady wins the race, sigh. I have lost 7.7kg total, but it's taken me 3 months. Although I have to admit I did retain a lot of water and bloat on the drugs I was on for he IVF. I am hoping that I will be preggers and won't mind that kind of weight gain. I have come across some great recipes along the way too, guess I should think about posting them sometime LOL.
Christopher has finally bought his first car!!! So exciting and he did it all on his own. He asked Michael's Dad to check it out for him too just to make sure it wasn't a total lemon and it looks like a great deal for a first car. Here it is, lol I made him go take pics and send them to me. Kit is TerrellS Tracy's Love.
Well apart from TerrellS moving house to another state and being incomunicado, (no internet yet) I am sort of keeping updated by Doreen, I jump on and visit Doreen's blog to see how things are going for her and Her Hubby and as a bonus get an update on TerrellS too, LOL. Doreen (beachnut999) has updated her blog and changed her header I noticed today. I am enjoying catching up on their comings and goings over in the states.
Okay here are some layouts. Now I have a few I guess since I haven't been on her for a while so I probably won't put them all up, just a few hee hee.

These are layouts of Melissa and Nick's wedding. Nick took a lot of pics at our wedding. This is Tracy's love Kit by TerrellS. It just goes so well with Melissa's dress!!

And here are some pics of Hayley's Japan trip she went on with her mum. This one is at Tokyo Disneyland and the kit is by Shannon Fahrnbach, November Grab Bag.

Okay this is jut Michael after we returned from a bike ride. Just a half hour one as it started to really pour and it is so much harder to ride when you are drenched oh and when your brake is stuck in the on position LOL, that was me anyway. This is TerrellS Kit Autumn Freebie and the matts are from her corrugated set.

Okay well that's it from me, I am off to bed now, sigh, so tired lately, and no it's not a sign LOL.

Have a great day!!

It's Taz the Ambo!

Hello world, I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I just dropped by the blog to see what Tracy had been telling you and found 'Bupkiss'. The holidays are over and I'm right back into the saddle again with the same probationary partner I had before I left. Good thing I like him.

I guess Tracy will let you know what our success is with the IVF cycle that we're currently on, when we know.

I have finished my very first semester of university distance education, I'm happy with what I learnt and my results so far with the sociology course, but the emergency care of mental health,,,, it sucked. Lots of information, none of it useful to me and my job of pre-hospital care.

One really cool thing that has happened, 1st Dec last year I was doing overtime at Randwick station and we got a cardiac arrest patient back, the ZOLL company that manufacture the defibrillator that saved his life, present a watch to all such patients and I had the pleasure of making that presentation on the 16th Nov - 49 weeks to the day after I first met George. George brought his son (about my age) along and Tracy took some photos (see above) it was special. It made it into the Ambulance Service newsletter and the local scandal sheets, the newspaper photo even made it to the local hospital Accident & Emergency Dept.

Well, that's a pretty go spray from me I'll go now.

See Ya'
